This opportunity is addressed to a dynamic professional with an exceptionally creative mind and expertise in strategic and operational management. It offers a unique chance to produce a major art biennial that highlights Tiohti\u00e0:ke\/Mooniyang\/Montr\u00e9al as a centre for contemporary art on the local, national, and international levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Requirements<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Master\u2019s degree in a pertinent discipline (art history, museology, visual arts) or the equivalent<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A minimum of 5\u20138 years of experience, including at least 3\u20135 years in management of cultural organizations (employee management, financial management, budget preparation, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in management of non-profit organizations and strong knowledge of and experience with grant programs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Very good knowledge of contemporary art and cultural organizations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good knowledge of the Qu\u00e9bec and Montr\u00e9al art environments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of governance procedures and rules<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recognized abilities in management of financial and human resources<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong strategic skills, combined with a capacity to work in a small team<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong conceptual skills; strategic, independent, and creative vision<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent writing skills and very good communications and public relations skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bilingual French-English, both spoken and written<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Salary and conditions<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The annual salary is from $65,000 to $85,000, depending on experience and qualifications<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>During even-numbered years (non-biennial years), 6% of annual salary in vacation days.
