Comme le propose Fran\u00e7oise Sullivan : \u00ab le monde se concentre dans l&#039;atelier et puis l&#039;atelier se concentre dans le tableau. \u00bb (Cahiers 1986, p. 11). L&#039;atelier serait un incubateur dans lequel se cristallisent les nombreuses substances appel\u00e9es \u00e0 donner vie \u00e0 l&#039;\u0153uvre et \u00e0 sa diffusion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les types d&#039;ateliers ont pris plusieurs formes depuis la Renaissance. Il est : 1) l&#039;espace lou\u00e9 temporairement pour la r\u00e9alisation d&#039;une \u0153uvre en particulier ; 2) l&#039;atelier r\u00e9sidentiel, (3) l&#039;atelier sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 con\u00e7u en raison de l&#039;\u00e9quipement n\u00e9cessaire pour la r\u00e9alisation de l&#039;\u0153uvre, 4) atelier collectif, espace commun o\u00f9 les artistes, tout en demeurant autonomes dans leur production, partagent de l&#039;\u00e9quipement sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9, 5) atelier communautaire o\u00f9 tout est mis en commun dans le cadre de cr\u00e9ations collectives qui portent la signature de l&#039;atelier, et 6) la combinaison d&#039;\u00e9l\u00e9ments de ces diff\u00e9rentes formes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La disposition de l&#039;atelier, fixe ou mobile, commande les m\u00eames genres d&#039;op\u00e9rations qui, en plus de la r\u00e9alisation de l&#039;\u0153uvre, impliquent sa gestion, sa diffusion et son entreposage. L&#039;atelier est \u00e9galement un lieu de transmission du savoir, alors que l&#039;artiste s&#039;entoure d&#039;assistants et d&#039;apprentis. Il accueille critiques, marchands, commissaires et conservateurs, coll\u00e8gues et amis. Lieu d&#039;\u00e9tude et de recherche, l&#039;atelier compte une biblioth\u00e8que o\u00f9 s&#039;accumule la documentation, de m\u00eame qu&#039;un espace de lecture et de d\u00e9tente. L&#039;artiste se caract\u00e9rise souvent par son activit\u00e9 de collectionneur et de chineur qui accumule les \u0153uvres d&#039;autres artistes ou qui stocke le mat\u00e9riel utile pour des r\u00e9alisations futures. La situation de l&#039;atelier affiche la position sociale de l&#039;artiste, d&#039;o\u00f9 le choix d&#039;un emplacement en relation avec la communaut\u00e9 et les services auxquels il\/elle souhaite s&#039;associer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Une \u00e9tude financ\u00e9e par le CRSH (Laurier Lacroix, Dominic Hardy, co-chercheurs) a permis de r\u00e9unir un certain nombre de donn\u00e9es sur les fonctions et les repr\u00e9sentations de l&#039;atelier au Qu\u00e9bec (1800-1980). Alors que de nombreuses publications portant sur l&#039;atelier paraissent en Occident, son examen critique est \u00e0 \u00e9tablir. Le sujet a encore \u00e9t\u00e9 peu abord\u00e9 dans des publications au Canada. Ce colloque fournit l&#039;occasion d&#039;explorer le sujet de l&#039;exp\u00e9rience de l&#039;atelier pass\u00e9 et actuel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le colloque poursuit les objectifs suivants : <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Faire le point sur la situation de la recherche portant sur les ateliers d&#039;artistes au Qu\u00e9bec et au Canada du 19e s. \u00e0 aujourd&#039;hui ;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 D\u00e9velopper des analyses de caract\u00e8re th\u00e9orique et m\u00e9thodologique permettant une meilleure connaissance de l&#039;atelier et de ses fonctions ;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Encourager la pr\u00e9sentation d&#039;\u00e9tudes de cas ;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Recueillir des t\u00e9moignages d&#039;artistes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En \u00e9tablissant un dialogue entre chercheurs et praticiens, \u00e9tudes de cas et t\u00e9moignages, le colloque souhaite stimuler des communications portant sur les sujets suivants :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 D\u00e9finition\/conception de l&#039;atelier : O\u00f9 et quand l&#039;atelier at-il lieu ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 \u00c9tudes de cas monographiques sur des ateliers d&#039;artistes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 La place de l&#039;atelier dans la constitution d&#039;une communaut\u00e9<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Les fonctions de l&#039;atelier : cr\u00e9ation, entreposage, formation, exposition, administration, \u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Conditions de production dans l&#039;atelier : solitude\/sociabilit\u00e9, acc\u00e8s au mat\u00e9riel\/entreposage<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Comment les pratiques artistiques post-1970 (in situ, performance, \u2026) modifient-elles le r\u00f4le de l&#039;atelier ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Strat\u00e9gies pour adapter l&#039;atelier face aux barri\u00e8res \u00e9conomiques et syst\u00e9miques<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 L&#039;atelier des ann\u00e9es 2020<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Exposer l&#039;atelier<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 L&#039;atelier comme mus\u00e9e<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 L&#039;atelier dans la fiction qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise (litt\u00e9rature et cin\u00e9ma)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 L&#039;atelier dans la ville<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Impact des conditions socio\u00e9conomiques sur l&#039;acc\u00e8s \u00e0 un atelier<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Diverses formes de communication sont invit\u00e9es :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 1) communication de 15 minutes,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 2) pr\u00e9sentation de 3 minutes (pecha kucha),<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 3) affiche publi\u00e9e sur le blog du colloque,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 4) communication visuelle de la part d&#039;artistes affich\u00e9e sur le blogue du colloque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les propositions de communications doivent \u00eatre remises avant <strong>le 15 octobre 2022<\/strong> \u00e0 l&#039;adresse<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>ateliersartistes2023@gmail.com<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">Elles doivent inclure : le titre suivi d&#039;une br\u00e8ve du sujet abord\u00e9 (150 mots maximum) et la forme qui prendra cette intervention (1 \u00e0 4) accompagn\u00e9e d&#039;une note biographique (100 mots maximum) et de l&#039;institution d&#039;attache pr\u00e9sentation (le cas \u00e9ch\u00e9ant).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Comit\u00e9 organisateur <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">Sandra Fraser, Remai Modern \/ Dominic Hardy, UQAM \/ Laurier Lacroix, UQAM<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Comit\u00e9 scientifique<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">Sherry Farrell-Racette, Universit\u00e9 du Manitoba \/ Sandra Fraser, Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al \/ Dominic Hardy, Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">Laurier Lacroix, UQAM\/ Julia Polyck-O&#039;Neill, Universit\u00e9 York<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Comme le constate Anne Lafont : \u00ab Qui pourrait croire en l\u2019existence d\u2019un artiste sans oeuvre, et d\u2019une oeuvre sans lieu, m\u00eame r\u00e9duit \u00e0 sa plus infime situation ?\u00bb.
