We invite the students of the Doc-inter program to present their recent publications at our winter welcome event, which will take place on January 23rd, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Galerie de l’UdeM.
In a roundtable format, you will have the opportunity to present in French or English your books, book chapters, journal or magazine articles, and exhibition catalogues published between January 2024 and January 2026. Accepted and forthcoming publications are also welcome.
Each presentation, lasting 5 minutes, should include:
- The main points of your publication
- The publication context (call for papers, conference proceedings, spontaneous submission, etc.)
- A brief presentation of the journal, book, or publishing house
Students who wish to share visual support during the roundtable are encouraged. The roundtable will conclude with a Q&A session, addressing topics such as the publication process (e.g. challenges, joys, learnings) and opportunities in the field.
The roundtable will be moderated by Professors Abigail E. Celis and Fiona Annis, and will be followed by a cocktail reception. This event is a collaboration between Doc-Inter and the Galerie de l’UdeM.
